Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi on Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) as well as Sarah in Geostorm(2017). She has also collaborated together with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish won the first Screen Actors Guild Award with the film she starred in. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive in encouraging her to pursue a career as an actor. When it came time to go back to college, she picked Fordham College where she learned how to perfect her craft. Gilpin was auditioned for and started performing off-Broadway in shows after she graduated. After a brief guest appearance on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gilpin landed small parts for the films Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin kept securing TV guest roles throughout the following years until she was able to get her first break in 2013 with a recurring role on Nurse Jackie. The character of Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes in the show before Nurse Jackie ended its run in June of 2015. Gilpin appeared the same year on True Story, a mystery thriller.
